DISPOSITION OF ITEMS APPROVED BY STANDING COMMITTEES UNDER DELEGATED AUTHORITY

For the information of Council, the following items were approved by the Planning and Environment Committee under Delegated Authority, at their meeting of 5 July 2010:

SITE PLAN CONTROL - 2148 CARLING AVENUE

PLAN D'IMPLANTATION - 2148, avenue carling

ACS2010-ICS-PGM-0033 Bay/Baie (7)

That Planning and Environment Committee approve the Site Plan Control application for 2148 Carling Avenue as per the plans and reports included in Document 8 as shown in Documents 2 through 5 inclusive, and subject to the Owner entering into a standard Site Plan Agreement including the conditions contained in Document 6, as amended such that for Special Condition 1, Road Widening, the words “property line” be changed to “centre line of pavement.”In the event that the Owner fails to sign the required agreement and complete the conditions to be satisfied prior to the signing of the agreement within one year of the Site Plan Approval, the approval shall lapse.

That staff be directed undertake the appropriate consultation with the affected landowners, including the Federal Government, on the proposal to change Wellington Street to Sir John A. Macdonald Boulevard or Macdonald-Cartier Boulevard and report back to Planning and Environment Committee and Council with a recommendation.
