For the information of Council, the following item was approved by the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee under Delegated Authority, at their meeting of 12 May 2011:

 

ROAD CLOSING APPLICATION FOR THE UNTRAVELED ROAD ALLOWANCE BETWEEN 1792 AND 1818 OLD PRESCOTT ROAD

That the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee refuse the Road Closing Application for the untraveled road allowance between 1792 and 1818 Old Prescott Road, as shown on Document 1.

For the information of Council, the following item was approved by the Environment Committee under Delegated Authority, at their meeting of 17 May 2011:

 

Association of municipalities of ontario – energy task force

Association des MUNICIPALITÉS de l’ontario – GROUPE DE TRAVAIL SUR L’ÉNERGIE

 

WHEREAS the City of Ottawa’s Environmental Strategy stipulates that “it is the role of the City as a Corporation to tap into best practices established by other organizations and to continue to coordinate its efforts with these organizations”; and,

 

Whereas the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO), in recognition of his expertise in energy issues, has invited Councillor David Chernushenko to serve on AMO's Energy Task Force;

 

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Environment Committee appoint Councillor Chernushenko to serve and assume the role of the City of Ottawa representative on this Task Force.

That the Transportation Committee approve the Statement of Work for the Multi-use Crossing of the O-Train Corridor near Hickory Street Environmental Assessment Study, as detailed in Document 1.
