The Accessibility Advisory Committee (AAC), at its meeting of 21 March 2012, received a high level presentation on the City of Ottawa’s Municipal Accessibility Plan (COMAP) report. Staff also arranged to meet with me prior to the AAC meeting and provided a detailed presentation. After some discussion, the Committee approved the COMAP report as presented.
The Committee was pleased with the format and adding the component of a five-year plan, which outlines how goals will be achieved in years to come.
By way of this memo, the Accessibility Advisory Committee wishes to fully endorse the report that will be considered at the Finance and Economic Development Committee on April 3, 2012 and Council on April 11, 2012.
