MOTION
WHEREAS the OC Transpo 2012
Business Plan was “tabled” at the Special Meeting of the Transit Commission on
January 26th, 2012; and
WHEREAS on February 22nd,
2012, it was announced that John Manconi, was the new General Manager, Transit
Services; and
WHEREAS the General Manager
requires sufficient time to review in detail the proposed documentation,
including the seven “core element” plans and various strategic initiatives, in
order to be able to provide the Transit Commission with his assessment of same.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the
OC Transpo 2012 Business Plan be referred to the General Manager for his
review.

Greenboro Station to Leitrim and Riverside South.
2. Direct staff to prepare a strategy for the development of

to be presented as part of the Transportation Master Plan update and associated
priority planning reports.

MOTION
WHEREAS there are a number of transit conferences and meetings held
throughout the year by Canadian and American transit associations that provide
valuable information on current transit related issues; and,
WHEREAS there is a benefit to the Commission to have the Chair or
designate represented at these conferences; and,
WHEREAS the Commission Chair is a board member of CUTA and is
therefore required to attend;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Transit Commission approve the
attendance of the Chair or designate at semi-annual APTA and CUTA conferences;
and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Chair or designate, as appropriate,
shall provide a verbal report to the Commission on all conferences attended.
