Salary: $67,136.16 to $78, 551.20 per year (2017 rates of pay)
Salary: $32.277 to $37.765 per hour (2017 rates of pay)

Job Summary

The Program Coordinator is responsible to the Portfolio Manager or Supervisor for coordinating and supervising the delivery of specified recreation programs and services offered through City of Ottawa Area Recreation Facilities.

Education & Experience

Successful completion of a two (2) year Community College Diploma in Recreation or related discipline

Minimum three (3) years full-time supervisory experience working in a recreation environment. Experience and qualifications may substitute for academic requirements.

*Experience and formal training combined with demonstrated performance and ability may substitute for stipulated academic requirements.

A valid Ontario unrestricted "G" class driver’s license (or provincial equivalent) with no more than 6 demerit points accumulated.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check to the City of Ottawa’s satisfaction.

Candidates who do not meet language requirements will be required to participate in training.
