MA: Public art installation shines on Somerset Street West

Ottawa – Kitchissippi Councillor Katherine Hobbs and artists Charlynne Lafontaine and Ryan Lotecki will officially celebrate Morphology/Silk Road Flower Rain, a new public art installation for Somerset Street West.

Local artists Lafontaine and Lotecki have created 16 aluminum and glass sculptures for the Hintonburg and Chinatown communities of Somerset Street West as subtle gateways into these unique and special places. The flame-worked glass pieces attach to the area's street lights to create a reflection of light and colour.
