Road allowance adjacent to 6021 and 6223 Carp Road

The Council of the City of Ottawa proposes to close an untravelled road allowance located between 6021 and 6223 Carp Road

The purpose of the street or lane closure is to provide the property Owners of the above noted properties with contiguous lands, because this road allowance is currently causing fragmentation.

The Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee will hear, in person or by counsel or agent, any person who applies to be heard concerning this closure. If you have objections, please contact in writing the undersigned on or April 27, 2017.

Proposed Street Closure
3001 Palladium Drive

The Council of the City of Ottawa proposes to close a portion of Palladium Drive located adjacent to the Riocan-Tanger Outlet Centre.

The purpose of the street closure is to close a travelled portion of the road allowance as it has been replaced by a round-about at the squared-off intersection of Palladium Drive and Campeau Drive located immediately to the west. The road closure will create surplus land which will form part of the Riocan-Tanger Outlet Centre.

The Planning Committee will hear, in person or by counsel or agent, any person who applies to be heard concerning this closure.  If you have objections, please contact in writing the undersigned on or before March 23, 2017.

680 River Road

The Council of the City of Ottawa proposes to close a portion of the road allowance at 680 River Road.

The purpose of the street or lane closure is to close an untravelled portion of the road allowance and dedicate it to the adjacent Claudette Cain Park.

The Planning Committee will hear, in person or by counsel or agent, any person who applies to be heard concerning this closure.  If you have objections, please contact in writing the undersigned on or before March 22, 2017.

Proposed Street Closure

Section of Albert Street, which is currently an untravelled road allowance

The Council of the City of Ottawa proposes to close a portion of a section of Albert Street.

The purpose of the street closure application is housekeeping in nature.  Parts 3, 4, 5 10, 11, 27 and 28 on 4R-29853 are to be closed. These parts are currently not travelled as a public highway and will look and function as part of the Arts Court development. These parts are currently fenced off as part of the construction for the new 23‑storey high-rise mixed-use building, which is to be linked to the existing Arts Court complex.

Proposed Roadway Modifications

Pursuant to By-law No. 2011–122, the City of Ottawa is providing notice to the public of its intention to approve road modifications at the following locations in accordance with the authority under By-law No. 2011-28:

Proposed Traffic Control Signal at Navan Road and Orleans Boulevard;

Proposed Additional northbound left turn lane at Navan Road and Blackburn Hamlet Bypass.

Proposed Street Closure

Section of Bayview Road, which is currently an unopened road allowance

The Council of the City of Ottawa proposes to close a portion of a section of Bayview Road.

The purpose of the street closure application is housekeeping in nature to close an untraveled portion of Bayview Road which is located on the Tom Brown Arena property. The portion of the road that is proposed to be closed is currently landscaped with a portion containing some surface parking. No physical changes to the property are proposed.

The Planning Committee will hear, in person or by counsel or agent, any person who applies to be heard concerning this closure. If you have objections, please contact in writing the undersigned on or before November 10, 2016.
