The French Language Services Branch, Corporate Programs and Business Services Department, is responsible for managing complaints regarding the delivery of quality services in French at the City of Ottawa.
By applying its complaints resolution procedure regarding services in French, the City is:
- Improving its delivery of quality services in French;
- More receptive to the needs and concerns of residents and staff;
- Taking the necessary measures to prevent the recurrence of problems brought to its attention.
Who may lodge a complaint?
Residents or employees who feel they have not received adequate service(s) in French from the City can submit a complaint. Complainants are advised they can remain anonymous and their identity will remain confidential.
How to lodge a complaint?
You can submit a complaint by using the online form set out for this purpose. You can also do so in writing (letter, e-mail, fax), by telephone or in person at any City of Ottawa Service Centre or with the French Language Services Branch.
