Complaints regarding French language services

The French Language Services Branch (FLS), Corporate Programs and Business Services Department, is responsible for managing complaints regarding the delivery of quality services in French at the City of Ottawa.

By managing the resolution of complaints regarding services in French, FLS:

  • assists departments in improving the quality of services delivered in French to residents and staff;

  • addresses the needs and concerns of residents and staff;

  • collaborates with Departments to ensure necessary measures are taken to prevent the recurrence of issues.

Who may lodge a complaint?

Residents or employees who feel that there was a lack in the delivery of services in French on the part of the City can submit a complaint.

You can submit a complaint by reviewing the guidelines on submitting a complaint and by using the online form located within the Corporate Programs and Business Services section.
