Confederation Line West Light Rail Transit (LRT) Extension

City of Ottawa’s Transportation Master Plan mandates that after the Confederation Line, the next section of the City’s light-rail system to be built is a western corridor link. To determine the right route, an Environmental Assessment was conducted during which more than a dozen options were exhaustively examined and re-examined and a preferred route rose to the top of the list.
