City Council, at its meeting of Wednesday, March 23, 2016, passed By-law 2016-95 with reference to the above-noted matter.
According to Section 41 (4) any person wishing to appeal the passage of this by-law to the Ontario Municipal Board (OMB) should submit a letter, outlining the reasons for appeal and any other relevant information. These must be received by the City Clerk within 30 days of the publication of the notice (Monday, May 2, 2016). The OMB has established a filing fee of $125.00. A cheque made payable to the Ontario Minister of Finance must accompany the appeal letter. When an appeal has been received, the Council of the City of Ottawa will refer the matter to the OMB for a hearing.
If you would like a copy of the plan in English, please contact Lesley Collins. The final plan, in French and English, will be posted on the City of Ottawa web-site after the expiration of the appeal period. If appeals are received, the plan will be posted after the appeals are heard.
