The spring edition of GLAD Cleaning the Capital takes place between April15 and May 15, with early bird registration beginning Wednesday, March 15.

Quotes

I know that GLAD Cleaning the Capital will carry on the tradition of businesses and residents working together with the City to make Ottawa’s neighbourhoods, pathways and waterways cleaner and greener. GLAD has been a partner with the City for five years and I welcome them as the new title sponsor.

Mayor Jim Watson, City of Ottawa

In addition to welcoming GLAD Canada as the new title sponsor, I also want to thank the 19 additional Ottawa area companies that are supporting the program. Once again, families and friends have the opportunity to work together on community cleanup projects that help make Ottawa clean, green, graffiti-free and litter-free.

Councillor Keith Egli, Chair of Transportation Committee, City of Ottawa

We are so excited to continue growing our partnership with the City of Ottawa, especially when the entire country is celebrating Canada’s 150th. As a brand and company, our goal is to promote both social and environmental responsibility by partnering with communities across Canada to help support their cleanup initiatives. We want to encourage residents, businesses and schools across our capital to spend a little bit of time cleaning up around their communities.

Matt Kohler, VP of Marketing at Clorox Canada, which owns the Glad brand.
