Ottawa – The City of Ottawa will begin work on Tuesday, March 22 to rehabilitate a section of sewer pipe on Lyon Street between Laurier Avenue and Cooper Street. All work will be done between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. to minimize impacts on traffic. The project will be completed by early April.

Lyon Street usually comprises three southbound traffic lanes and a cycling lane. During this off-peak sewer rehabilitation work, traffic will be reduced to one lane and the cycling lane will be closed. Parking will not be permitted on Lyon Street between Laurier Avenue and Cooper Street during the construction period.

This is an Ottawa on the Move project. Ottawa on the Move is about keeping our community and economy moving forward through strategic investments in a number of transportation, water, and sewer projects to build a better city and create jobs.
