| Donna Legault Cymatic Imprints |
In this multi-sensory installation, a Pure Data program transforms live sound into silent speaker motion by transposing the pitch to sub-audible levels. The resulting movements generate visual and sonic variations through the reaction of extensions as they make contact with the floor. In this way, the work renders the immateriality of sound as a tangible event by silencing and reinterpreting the data of everyday life. |

| Jonathan Hobin Little Lady / Little Man |
This photographic exhibition reflects on the death of a husband and wife through the use of lullaby, vintage photographs and life-size deathbed portraiture. Little Lady / Little Man not only acknowledges the dichotomy of life’s seemingly simultaneous endurance and fragility, but also challenges the viewer to consider concepts surrounding their own mortality. |

| SAW Video Tape Heads: Video Art & Technology in the 1980s |
The early days of video art in Ottawa will be highlighted in this historical exhibition marking SAW Video’s 30th anniversary (1981-2011). Pioneering video art pieces produced at the centre in the early 1980s will be presented alongside vintage video production and post-production equipment, demonstrating how media artists used their creativity to overcome technological limitations and produce visually dynamic and challenging video art. |

| Pedro Isztin The River |
Pedro Isztin’s photographic work discovers and uncovers moments of sacred natural beauty with diversity, sensitivity and depth. Isztin scoured the forests and shorelines of his youth to photograph the ancient, mystic and silent ways of a natural and fragile ecosystem.. |

| Véronique Chagnon-Côté La capture [The Capture] |
“(…) the trees are trimmed, they form, along the rugged woods, a protective hedge half way into becoming part of a savage nature, half way into becoming human.” -Anne Cauquelin L’invention du paysage The garden is a closed setting, a development, a structure where men have decided to organize nature. It is a natural space created from scratch, constructed and shaped by humanity to capture the landscape. |
