The City of Ottawa is undertaking an environmental assessment (EA) study to identify a recommended plan for improving multi-use (pedestrian/cycling) linkages over the Rideau Canal between the Pretoria and Bank Street Bridges. The intent of this undertaking is to foster healthy communities by promoting active transportation through enhanced pedestrian and cycling connectivity. This study is being planned under Schedule “C” of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment.
At this Open House, members of the public will have an opportunity to:
• Review the evaluation of alternative design concepts
• Review and comment on the preliminary Recommended Plan for the crossing
• Ask questions and discuss the project with members of the study team.
For further information please contact the project manager. The presentation material will be available on the project webpage following the Open House. The Glebe Community Centre is accessible from OC Transpo routes 1, 4, 6 and 7 with street parking also available.
