Life Drawing Studios
This collection of recent works by life drawing studio members and instructors displays a range of figure drawings and portraits using a variety of artistic media including ink wash, charcoal, graphite and chalk.

June 5 to September 11

Large Scale Art Group Exhibition
These works celebrate diversity of technique, colour, texture and challenge studio members to create large scale artworks. This exhibition will celebrate variety and uniqueness in painting and art making.

Pottery Showcase: Ceramic Art: Jordan Danger

The ceramic artworks of local artist Jordan Danger are playful, colourful, and full of life – often drawing upon animal imagery, Jordan creates both functional and decorative rustic treasures.

Emotion, Colour, Movement: Hamid Ayoub
Hamid Ayoub depicts the emotions of human spirit through colour and movement, striving to reflect the beauty and continuity of the human soul.  He uses multiple mediums to render a spectrum of life experiences and subject matter in his artwork.

November 6 to December 4

Fall Exhibition: Instructors, Students and Studio Members
This exhibition will showcase the recent work of our instructors, students and studio members across a range of visual arts disciplines. Wonderful talent and skill will be on display, as well as a sample of the wide range of artistic possibilities offered at the Nepean Visual Arts Centre.

Wabi Sabi Group Exhibition
Wabi Sabi is the traditional Japanese philosophy of aesthetics, centered upon the evocation of beauty through meditation upon three fundamental tenets of Buddhism: imperfection, impermanence, and incompleteness. These artworks are a breathtaking expression of that philosophy.
