Philosophy of the Municipal Child Care Centres
Fully aware that the experiences children go through in their early years have a direct impact on their quality of life, our objective is to meet the child's social, physical intellectual and emotional needs.
A child must first accept himself as he is regardless of differences in level of development, in order to grow into a receptive and responsible human being. With our support, assistance and guidance, a child can become aware of his potential and learn from the many experiences that life offers him daily at the Centre.
Our program was designed to complement family life and help the child find his/her place within the family, within the community as well as among his peers. In essence, our program is focused on child growth and development.
"Tomorrow we start from scratch, because tomorrow, for a growing child, is always a little different from today's experiences."
Through program activities, various workshops, play and outings, the Centre proposes to foster the child's social, physical, intellectual and emotional development.
