Shine bright this holiday season and volunteer for the Vintage Village of Lights!

Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 2 to 8:30 p.m. from November 29th to December 21st at the Cumberland Heritage Village Museum (2940 Old Montreal Rd)

"Home for the Holidays" is the theme of this year’s Christmas program. It pays homage to the belief that soldiers in the First World War were expected to return home to their families that first Christmas. Visitors will experience a rural, family Christmas with vintage flair, 1930s style.

Volunteers can help in any number of ways! There are pre-event opportunities to decorate the site (there are 30,000 Christmas lights!) and prepare the craft activities before the program starts. During the program, there are opportunities to prepare and serve food at the Canteen, help create postcards and decorate cookies, demonstrate knitting, and even play winter sports.
