The better-prepared people are for an emergency, the better the City can respond to that emergency. That’s why the City of Ottawa has the Are You Ready Program – which is tailor-made for Ottawa’s diverse needs of a multicultural community. The program utilizes a grass-root network of community leaders, agencies and individuals that help deliver emergency preparedness workshops – raising awareness with resident on how they can prepare themselves for an emergency.
