Funding for Homelessness InitiativesThe City of Ottawa, with the support of the Federal and Provincial governments, purchases a wide range of homelessness services from community organizations. From time to time, when funding is available to be allocated for service provision, for small capital improvements to agencies, for community capacity-building initiatives, or for large capital projects such as to construct new affordable or supportive housing, the City holds a request for proposal (RFP) process.
