Pay on Foot


Pay on Foot is the City of Ottawa's newest automated parking management system. Look for Pay on Foot at the City-owned parking facilities at 141 and 70 Clarence Street.

The Pay on Foot stations are conveniently located and easy to use! They are equipped with touch screens and audio instruction to help guide you through the payment process. Customers can pay using either cash (25¢, $1.00 and $2.00 coins and bills), major credit cards and the City of Ottawa Parking Card.

How to use the Pay on Foot technology

   
  1. When entering the parking garage, take a ticket from the entry terminal and keep it with you.

  1. Pay "on foot" when you come back to the garage and before returning to your vehicle.
  1. Take your ticket to one of the pay stations and insert your entry ticket into the indicated slot. The machine will indicate the cost of parking for the time you have used.

  1. Following the on-screen and audio instructions, insert cash, credit card or a parking card to pay the indicated amount.
  1. Take your exit ticket from the pay station.

  1. Drive to the exit and insert your exit ticket into the terminal, and the gate will open.

Please note, you may also pay at the exit terminal as you leave, using either Visa, MasterCard or Amex.
