We have been serving the community and the surrounding areas since 1988 by providing quality aquatic and recreation programs for all ages and levels of participation. The centre is probably best known for its wave pool that is a popular destination for tourists, motor-coach tour groups and residents of Ottawa. How to Find UsKanata Leisure Centre (wave pool) - Location map The Kanata Leisure Centre is conveniently located at 70 Aird Place adjacent to Hwy #417 at the corner of Castlefrank and Aird Place in the community of Kanata. Travelling westbound on Hwy 417, take exit 139 (Castlefrank Road) and proceed south over the Queensway (Hwy 417). Turn left onto Aird Place. Travelling eastbound on Hwy 417, take exit 140 (Terry Fox Drive). Turn right onto Terry Fox, left onto Katimavik, left onto Castlefrank, and right onto Aird Place. OC Transpo bus route information:
