Outdoor Rink Permits

The Seasonal Recreation will confirm your request as soon as possible. Permits are available free of charge and applications must be forwarded at least five working days prior to your preferred date.

Rink sites that will accommodate group requests will take up to three permits per week, which will be issued by the rink operators. Permits are available for up to a maximum of one hour per week, per group, generally after 9 pm during weekdays and between 9 and 11 am on weekends. Ice time allocation will vary at each site according to the usage levels and the operator’s discretion.

Getting an ice time:

  1. Complete the permit request form and click ‘submit’.
  2. To submit your form in person, bring a completed permit request form to the rink operator responsible for the rink that you are interested in booking. Contact the Park Seasonal Recreation Office by E-mail or by phone at 613-580-2590 for rink operator contact information.
  3. The Seasonal Recreation will confirm your request as soon as possible.

Allocation of ice time:

Once a permit request has been received, the rink operator may issue a permit to the group according to time availability. Permit information will be posted at the facilities to inform the patrons of their reserved date and time.
