Ottawa Architectural Conservation AwardsThe City annually recognizes outstanding achievements in heritage conservation with the Ottawa Architectural Conservation Awards. The awards are presented in three categories: restoration (returning a heritage resource to its original form, material and integrity), adaptive use (modification of a heritage resource to contemporary functional standards while retaining its heritage character), and infill (addition to a heritage building or all-new construction within a historic context). The 2009-2010 Ottawa Architectural Conservation Awards were handed out at a ceremony at City Hall on February 16, 2010. Details of the application process and timelines for the 2010-2011 Awards will be posted here in the fall of 2010. For more information, please contact: The Heritage Section |
