“Volunteers…from compassion to action” encompasses the inspiration that drives volunteers as they donate their time, energy and skills to build better communities.

The City of Ottawa encourages citizens to participate fully in the life of their communities by volunteering. The City's Volunteer Services Division is responsible for guiding volunteer interest and providing links and support to other departments within the City who rely on the resources of volunteers to assist them with the delivery of municipal programs and services.

Share your time, skills and energy with one of the many services or programs your city offers, or look further to the 2,500 not-for-profit organizations in our community. Your involvement matters!
