Confused? Scared? Not sure about something? We've all been there! The thing to know is that there is always someone you can talk to or somewhere you can go to sort through any issue or problem. The resources in this section should point you in the right direction.
Check out this list of youth-friendly resources available throughout the City. Services are confidential, and will give you information - from relationships, drugs and alcohol, to crisis help - that you can use to make your own decisions. Most are free.

The Ottawa Police Service is working hard to encourage positive relationships with youth. Whether through School Resource Officers, the Ottawa Police Venturers program, various community partnerships, education programs or the hundreds of neighbourhood events held every year, police routinely cooperate with youth to improve your community.
Check out their "Youth Zone" for information on raves, substance abuse, date rape drugs, and useful links.
The Ottawa Police Service also have a Youth Intervention and Diversion Coordinator who can facilitate training sessions on youth issues or review cases needing specialized services. You can contact Louise Logue, Youth Intervention/Diversion Coordinator at 613-236-1222, extension 5342.
