Job Summary

As a member of Revenue Services, the incumbent is responsible for delivering superior customer service when handling Tax and Water account issues as they have a direct impact on the City's image and customer satisfaction levels. The Revenue Account Assistant supports the customer account maintenance, billing and/or assessment functions and provides customer service in Taxation, Water and Accounts Receivable.

Education & Experience

Post Secondary Student (completion of first year College or university): Business or related area of study.

Minimum of one (1) year but less than two (2) years of related experience is required: Previous office experience and/or customer service experience.

Language, Certificates & Licenses

The successful candidate will be required to complete a Criminal Record Check to the City of Ottawa’s satisfaction.

English oral, reading, writing required.
French oral, reading, writing may be required for some positions.
Candidates must meet language requirement for position upon hire.
