Job Summary

Provides assistance in the development and implementation of Environmental Services Departmental outreach and education events, facility tours, communications, materials and pilot projects for the City of Ottawa.

Education & Experience

Post Secondary Student (completion of first year College or university):

Minimum of eight (8) months but less than one (1) year of related experience is required:

Experience in water/water efficiency, wastewater, source water protection, solid waste or recycling programs would be considered an asset.

*Experience and formal training combined with demonstrated performance and ability may substitute for stipulated academic requirements.

Language, Certificates & Licenses

English oral, reading, writing required.
French oral, reading, writing may be required for some positions.

Candidates must meet language requirement for position upon hire.

A valid Ontario unrestricted G class driver’s license (or provincial equivalent) with no more than 6 demerit points accumulated may be required for some positions.

Students must supply own CSA-approved, green patch safety work boots.
