The City is celebrating National Health and Fitness Day on Saturday, June 3 by offering free swimming passes (including wave swims) and cardio/weight room passes at select City facilities to adults aged 18 years and older.

Thanks to the new Play Free initiative, the City continues to offer a selection of free drop-in programming for children and youth, aged 17 years and under, who do not pay during the dates listed below for each category:

  • Sports – From Saturday, April 15 to Sunday, June 25
  • Swimming – Saturdays, from Saturday, June 3 to Saturday, December 30 (wave swim only included on Saturday, June 3)
  • Museums – Saturday, June 24 to Sunday, September 3
  • Skating – Daily from Saturday, September 16 to Saturday, December 23

Keep yourself healthy and happy – physically, mentally and socially – by trying out City of Ottawa facilities and programs with your family or friends. Visit ottawa.ca/fun to browse the list of participating facilities. Some sites may require reservations.

Like to stay around home? That’s fine too. Take part in a free virtual Zumba class at 9 am on Saturday, June 3. Register in advance with barcode 59825.
