Centretown Local Area Parking Study

Project Status:
Underway

Public Open House for Centretown Local Area Parking Study

Date: Wednesday, February 10, 2016

Time: 6 to 8 p.m.

Place: City Hall, 110 Laurier Ave, Jean Pigott Hall, 1st floor

The purpose of this open house is to inform the public of the data collection results, and allow residents to provide input for possible solutions. Feedback collected at the open house will be incorporated into the final report. Parking Services staff will be available to answer questions.

In 2015, Parking Services Branch began the Centretown Local Area Parking Study. The boundaries of the study area are: Gloucester Street to the north, the Rideau Canal to the east, the Queensway to the south, and Bronson Avenue to the west.

The Study aligns with current planning exercises (e.g. Community Design Plan), considers continued intensification in the area and general parking concerns expressed by stakeholders. All Local Area Parking Studies are conducted in alignment with the Council-approved Municipal Parking Management Strategy.

Accessibility is an important consideration for the City of Ottawa. If you require special accommodation, please contact Lindsay Thomas before the event.

If you are not available to attend the Public Open House or would like additional information, please direct your questions and/or comments to the contact person listed below.
