Rubicon Park

Overview

Blackstone South Rubicon Park will be a 1.35-hectare Neighbourhood Park located at the intersection of Rouncey Road and Rubicon Place in Stittsville. In Blackstone South, some of the streets take their names after boats, and this nautical theme is extended to the play areas in Rubicon Park. Park amenity features will include a swing set, a sheltered picnic area, a play structure for toddlers and older children, a basketball half-court, open play areas, one intermediate size soccer field, and a possible sand play area. Trees will be planted in the park to provide shade to seating areas. This conceptual plan illustrates two options for the play structure and shade shelter. We encourage you to provide comments and choose your favorite play space and features.
