Project description
The city is undertaking the design to update features at the Windsor Park Pumping Station by upgrading various process components and the motor control center to increase reliability and improve maintainability of the station, providing safety improvements, and adding a new driveway access to the facility.
The Windsor Park Pumping Station is located at 507 Riverdale Avenue.

Notice to residents will be sent out to advise of works prior to commencement.
The City makes every effort to minimize the impacts of construction on the community. Utilities modifications and excavation within the City right of way limits is expected. Construction site fencing will be in place during construction to enhance public safety. It is not expected that there will be any interruption to the service for the duration of this project.
Project timing
Construction start: March 2023
Construction completion: December 2023
Project budget
Approved project funds to date are $3.99 million.
Public engagement
An online public information session was held in February 2023, to present the design drawings to the public. At that time, residents were able to review the design, ask questions and provide comment on the proposed works.

Therefore, as an alternative to hosting in-person public information sessions, information on this project is being posted to Ottawa.ca for your review and comment. The City remains committed to keeping the public informed of projects occurring in your neighbourhood.
For the Windsor Park Pumping Station Reliability Upgrades project, the project team will be taking a proactive approach and will update you using different methods of communication including mailed notices and by posting information on ottawa.ca.
The City of Ottawa invites you to review and provide comments on the new documents and illustrations for the Windsor Park Pumping Station Reliability Upgrades project by February 22, 2023. Your feedback can be submitted by email or by phone to the contact below.
A virtual public information session is also being held on Wednesday February 8, 2023, at 7pm. Please register if you wish to participate.

Who: The City of Ottawa has retained the design consulting firm, RV Anderson, to develop a design for the Windsor Park Pumping Station Reliability Upgrades.
