Project overview
Project description
The objective of this project is to design and construct new sanitary sewers and watermain infrastructure along Berkley Avenue, Dominion Avenue and Tay Street as they are aging and in poor condition. The project will also investigate surface drainage improvements, full road reconstruction, traffic calming measures along with new curbs and sidewalks, where applicable.
Project timing
Design start: spring 2025
Construction start: spring 2027
Construction completion: fall 2028
Project budget
Approved project funds to date are $7.44 million.
Public engagement
A public information session is expected to be held in the fall of 2025, to present the design drawings to the public. At this time attendees will be able to review the design, ask questions and provide comment on the proposed works.
