Get the skills you need to work in a long-term care home, hospital, school, college, university, or food manufacturing setting.

  • Eight weeks training followed by a 30-hour job placement
  • Training provided by Algonquin College and La Cité des Affaires
  • Earn a Food Service Worker certificate including safety (WHIMIS) and safe food handling certificates

You must be:

  • 18 years or older
  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • An Ontario resident
  • Interested in working as a Food Service Worker
  • Be suited for a job that is physically demanding
  • Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
