Bells Corners Community Improvement Plan Area

A by-law of the City of Ottawa to designate a part of the area covered by the Official Plan for the City of Ottawa as the Bells Corners Community Improvement Plan Area.
WHEREAS pursuant to Section 28 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990. C. P. 13, City Council may designate the whole or any part of an area covered by an official plan as a community improvement project area; AND WHEREAS the updated economic development strategy for 2015- 2018 entitled “Partnerships for Innovation” was adopted on May 13, 2015;
AND WHEREAS on September 6, 2016 Finance and Economic Development Committee recommended the designation of part of the area covered by the Official Plan as shown in Schedule “A” attached hereto as the Bells Corners Community Improvement Plan Area;
AND WHEREAS on September 14, 2016 City Council carried the recommendations of Finance and Economic Development Committee;
THEREFORE the Council of the City of Ottawa enacts as follows:
- The following area is designated as the Bells Corners Community Improvement Project Area: (1) the lands shown in Schedule “A” to this by-law.
- This by-law shall come into force in accordance with the provisions of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended.
