City to dedicate the future site of new central library

Please join Mayor Jim Watson and The Honourable Catherine McKenna, Minister of Environment and Climate Change on behalf of The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage, for a ceremony dedicating the site of the future Ottawa Public Library and Library and Archives Canada joint facility.

Time: 1 to 1:30 pm
Place: Corner of Albert Street and Commissioner Street (map)

The shuttle bus for guests and media will depart at 12:35 pm sharp from the Lisgar Street entrance of Ottawa City Hall, 110 Laurier Avenue West. The bus will return to City Hall at 1:45 pm. There is limited parking close to the event on Commissioner Street. The shuttle bus is strongly recommended.
