In response to the Blackburn residents affected by the gas line and watermain breaks, the City of Ottawa has opened the Bob MacQuarrie Recreation Complex- Orléans as an emergency warming centre. The gas and water outage is expected to last for several hours and the weather forecast is calling for frigid temperatures.  The Complex is located at 1490 Youville Drive in Orléans. 

The Bob McQuarrie Recreation Complex – Orléans will be closing at 11 pm tonight, Friday, January 18. Those requiring assistance can contact 3-1-1 for City services and 2-1-1 for other assistance.
