The City of Ottawa wants your input on the projects, policies, programs and services that affect your daily life. From open houses to workshops and online consultations, your feedback helps to shape City decisions.

The following opportunities to learn more about City projects are available:

  • Tuesday, January 22
    ByWard Market Public Realm Plan keynote presentation
    National Gallery of Canada Auditorium
    380 Sussex Drive
    Doors open at 6 pm
    Keynote presentation by Gil Penalosa, Founder and Chair of 8 80 Cities, followed by a question and answer session on the ByWard Market Public Realm Plan. Registration for this session is free.
     
  • Wednesday, January 23
    ByWard Market Public Realm Plan workshop session
    Ottawa City Hall, Jean Pigott Place
    110 Laurier Avenue West
    First session – 4:30 to 7 pm; second session – 7 to 9 pm
    Both workshops will include a presentation and small group discussion to gather feedback on the progress of the ByWard Market Public Realm Plan.
     
  • Wednesday, January 23
    2019 Pre-Budget Consultation for Wards 7, 8, 9
    Nepean Sportsplex, Hall C and D
    1701 Woodroffe Avenue
    6 to 8 pm
    Councillor-led budget consultation for the Bay, College and Knoxdale-Merivale Wards, hosted by Councillor Theresa Kavanagh, Councillor Rick Chiarelli and Councillor Keith Egli. You can also provide feedback on the upcoming 2019 budget by completing the City of Ottawa’s online survey or by sharing your ideas at budget@ottawa.ca.

    2019 Pre-Budget Consultation for Ward 5

    Meet your City services – 6 to 6:45 pm
    Pre-Budget consultation – 7 to 8:30 pm
    Councillor-led budget consultation for West-Carleton March Ward, hosted by Councillor Eli El-Chantiry. You can also provide feedback on the upcoming 2019 budget by completing the City of Ottawa’s online survey or by sharing your ideas at budget@ottawa.ca.
     
  • Thursday, January 24
    Public information session: Stonebridge Golf Community
    Nepean Sportsplex, Hall A and B
    1701 Woodroffe Avenue
    6:30 to 8:30 pm
    Residents are invited to attend a facilitated session related to the Stonebridge Golf Community.

The City offers residents a variety of opportunities to share information, consult and collaborate. Stay informed about upcoming engagement opportunities to see your ideas, suggestions and concerns incorporated in the work that impacts you and your community.
