A special event is happening on the weekend before Halloween. It’s not scary but It has plenty of spirit and treats for those special friends, family and loved ones on your list. It’s the Nepean Sportsplex Christmas Craft Show – running from Thursday, October 24 to Sunday, October 27.

Ottawa’s first major craft show of the season will see more than 130 vendors showcasing art, jewellery, clothing, accessories and food. It’s an opportunity to find that unique gift that you cannot find online or in stores. And it’s a chance to put a dent in your holiday shopping list – even before ghouls and goblins travel for their sweet treats.

  • Adults, $6
  • Seniors and youth, $4
  • Children (under 12) free
  • And, it’s two-for-one admission on opening day, Thursday, October 24, 10 am to 8 pm.

The craft show will take place at the curling rink in the Nepean Sportsplex, located at 1701 Woodroffe Avenue. If you’re taking transit, it’s right on the Transitway. If you’re driving, plenty of free parking is available.
