Announcements and Events

Join Mayor Jim Watson, Kitchissippi Councillor Jeff Leiper, Bayview Yards President and CEO Michael Tremblay and prototypeD Inc. for the opening of the Made Mill Innovation Pod’s residence at Lansdowne Park.

The Innovation Pod is a mobile studio and multi-use space designed as a creative space for musicians and artists. The Innovation Pod will be in residence at Lansdowne Park from August to November, with programming provided by prototypeD in August and by the Ottawa Music Industry Coalition (OMIC) and Apt613 from September to November.

Workshops, podcasts, media space, virtual reality demos, music performance, recording studio time and more are planned. The Innovation Pod’s residency at Lansdowne advances the new Ottawa Music Strategy goal of opening up more City-owned spaces to musicians and the music industry.

Date: August 15, 2018
Time: 11:30 am
Location: Lansdowne Park, east of the Aberdeen Pavilion

A tour of the pod, with live demos, will follow the formal opening.

In case of rain, the event will be held inside the Horticulture building.
