Announcements and Events

The City will post unofficial election results on ottawa.ca soon after the polls close at 8 pm tonight. Results will be updated every 5 to 7 minutes until all results have been tabulated.

The City Clerk is expected to declare the official results for the 2018 Municipal Elections by Thursday, October 25.

In the interim, an external auditor hired by the Office of the City Clerk and Solicitor will validate election processes to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the results. Only once the auditor provides a final report will the City Clerk declare the results official. Official results will also be posted on ottawa.ca.

Visit ottawa.ca/vote after 8 pm on Monday, October 22 (Voting Day) for the latest unofficial results.
