Painting commemorating 100th anniversary of Parliament Hill fire being donated to the City

Ottawa – Mayor Jim Watson will be joined byThe Honourable George J. Furey, Speaker of the Senate, The Honourable Geoff Regan, Speaker of the House of Commons, Karen McCrimmon, Member of Parliament, Kanata-Carleton, and members of City Council to unveil a painting of the Parliament Hill fire of 1916 that is being donated to the City of Ottawa by artist Ross Rheaume.

Location: Ottawa City Hall, Mayor’s Boardroom, Heritage Building, 2nd Floor, 110 Laurier Avenue West

A light snack and refreshments will be available during the reception.
