November 29, 2019
Announcements and Events

Skaters will be able to lace up for a scenic downtown skate at the Sens Rink of Dreams, which opens for the season at City Hall’s Marion Dewar Plaza today at noon.

Weather permitting, the Sens Rink of Dreams will be open daily from 6 am to 11 pm until the end of the skating season, in March 2020. A heated skate-change hut is also available on site daily from 8 am to 11 pm, plus a skate-sharpening service – open Fridays from 4 to 9 pm, Saturdays from noon to 9 pm, and Sundays from noon to 6 pm.

Throughout the season, a red flag adjacent to the rink and statuses on ottawa.ca will notify residents of any closures due to the weather – such as warm or rainy conditions. Residents can also download the free City of Ottawa App, available now through the Apple Store or on Google Play, to get notifications on their handheld devices.
