Three Ottawa children to be honoured for their use of 9-1-1

The City of Ottawa, in partnership with Bell Canada, will honour three young residents for their quick thinking, bravery and good judgment during emergency situations at the 2019 Children’s 9-1-1 awards.

To present the awards, Mayor Jim Watson will be joined by Councillor Jenna Sudds, Chair of the Community and Protective Services Committee along with representatives of:

  • Ottawa Fire Services
  • Ottawa Paramedic
  • Ottawa Police Service
  • Office of Emergency Management
  • By-law and Regulatory Services
  • Bell Canada

The award recognizes youth 12 and under who effectively used 9-1-1 in a crisis.
