Traffic impacts in Ottawa for the coming days – beginning Friday, December 6

These events will have the following impacts on Ottawa traffic:

Osgoode Village Parade of Lights – On Friday, December 6, Osgoode Main Street will close between Taggart Street and Osgoode Market Square Mall from 7 until 9 pm.

Glebe Neighborhood Activities Group Winter Carnival – On Saturday, December 7, Lyon Street will close between Second and Third avenues from 4 until 9 pm.

Lighting of the Park and Richmond Santa Claus Parade – On Saturday, December 7, McBean Street will close between South Carleton High School and the Richmond Memorial from 5:30 until 6:30 pm.

Metcalfe Santa Claus Parade and Food Drive – On Sunday, December 8 the following roads will close from 2 until 3 pm:

  • Glen Street between the Community Christian School and Johannes Street
  • Johannes Street between Glen and Victoria streets
  • Victoria Street between Johannes Street and 8th Line Road
  • 8th Line Road between Victoria Street and the Metcalfe Community Centre

Santa Claus Parade, Constance and Buckham’s Bay – On Saturday, December 7, the following roads will close from 10 am until noon:

  • Constance Bay Road between Woods Road and Bayview Drive
  • Bayview Drive between Constance Bay Road and Len Purcell Drive
  • Len Purcell Drive between Bayview Drive and the Constance and Buckham's Bay Community Centre

Santa Shuffle at Lansdowne – On Saturday, December 7, Queen Elizabeth Driveway will close between Fifth Avenue and Preston Street from 8:30 am until noon.
