May 10, 2018
Announcements and Events

Upcoming projects will have the following impacts on Ottawa traffic:

  • Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway – From Wednesday, May 9, to Friday, May 11, 2018, sections of the westbound lanes along the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway, between Richmond Road and Vimy Place, will be closed during off-peak hours, from 9 am to 3 pm, to repair asphalt. Flag persons will control motorists on the open lane of the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway during the work. Motorists, cyclists and pedestrians should exercise caution, respect work crews and equipment, and obey flag persons and signage at the site.

  • Blair Road – The southbound curb lane of Blair Road near the Highway 174 onramp will be closed overnight from 10 pm Monday May 14 to 5 am Tuesday May 15 for pavement resurfacing. In the event of rain, the work will take place later in the week.

Signed detours will be in place to direct motorists around the closures. For more updates on the construction and road work activity across the city, or for information about traffic and travel planning, visit the City’s Traffic Report on ottawa.ca or follow the City’s traffic account on Twitter.
