Refunds and cancellations

Aquatic programs scheduled to begin in April will be delayed until Ottawa transitions to a lower restriction level. Registered clients will be contacted by City staff and provided program amendment information.

Due to the province-wide emergency shutdown regulations, all in-person April Break Day Camps that were originally scheduled from April 12 to 16 have been cancelled. Registrants for the in-person day camps will be contacted directly to be advised of the cancellation and refund process.

What if I have a membership with the City?

Active memberships willhave been automatically extended for the number of days that services arewere unavailable during the closure. For memberships that expired while facilities wereare closed, clients will be issued a prorated refund to reflect the number of days that services were unavailable. It can take up to four weeks for a refund to be processed.

Rental contracts at City facilities 

For cancelled rental contracts, a credit will be placed on your account which can be used in the future. You can also access your account online to request a refund. Please contact should you wish to discuss further.

If you would like to reschedule your rental, please contact the facility using the email address listed on the facility page.

Seasonal rental contracts at arenas 

All seasonal ice contracts that are cancelled as a result of COVID-19 will receive a credit on account. This credit can be used at a later date or refunded. Casual ice contracts that are cancelled will automatically be refunded.
