Frequently Asked Questions

What is a No-Swimming Advisory? How will it affect camp?
A No-Swimming Advisory is issued when Ottawa Public Health recommends that beach-goers do not enter the water due to high levels of bacteria. What if it rains?
Camps will run rain or shine. In the event of a thunderstorms or other extreme weather conditions, day plans are modified as needed. Space is available at the beaches for indoor activities. Please bring a change of warm clothes. Indoor space is available at the beaches. We notify parents if participants are transported to a different site.

Where do I drop off participants?
At each location, there is a large flag and tent for sign in and out.
