Budget (Operating and Capital)

The City publishes the annual budget, and budget reports by committee and boards, as well as many related informational tools online each year.

Budget documents for the past three years are available online.

Copies of budget documents prior to the past three years may be requested from the Department. Budget books available offline are for years 2001- the years preceding the most recent three years.

The designation of bilingual positions is a process by which managers identify the appropriate number and type of bilingual positions required within their work units to ensure provision of service to the public and staff in English and French.

Hiring managers can seek guidance from FLS in the determination of designated positions and their linguistic profiles. Human Resources Services is the lead department in the designation of bilingual positions as it maintains the data, provides reports on bilingual positions, and leads the provision of language training and language assessment services supporting employees in achieving the bilingual requirements of designated positions.
