Description

Carolynne Pynne-Trudeau and Chandler Swain produced a three-part commission for the Huron Early Learning Centre: an entrance mosaic, an interior mural, and a whimsical playground structure. A Place For Us All refers to the human community and to the natural world. The artwork highlights the importance of ecological awareness and speaks to the ecological history of the land once home to the animals depicted in the mural, while celebrating the present uses of the grounds, the green features of the facility and the children who bring it to life.
