French Embassy in Canada

An example of 1930s Art Deco, built primarily of materials from Quebec and France. Highlights include the Salon de l’hon. George W. Vari (formerly the Birch Bark room) a replica of the Vimy Memorial, bronze decorations by André Bizette-Lindet, a mural by Alfred Courmes, and historical wall engravings.

No strollers, backpacks, metal objects, food (incl. chewing gum) or drinks. Photography restricted.

Pre-registration required at Doors Open Ottawa 2023 between May 26 and June 3, 2023. Limited passes are available on a first come, first serve basis.
